The ferrous business unit provides comprehensive solutions for the iron and steel industry while the non-ferrous business unit offers a spectrum of solutions for aluminium, copper, zinc, lead and mineral beneficiation plants.

Comprehensive Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) solutions is on offer from L&T’s Bulk Material Handling (BMH) business for material handling for core sector industries through its Power and Steel, Mines, Ports & Special Conveyors business units.

Requirements

L&T’s Minerals & Metals required an integrated project control management Monitoring and reporting Materials management activity level Fabrication, Erection, Structural etc.

• Piping, Isometric generation , Erection, Spool drawing and related report generation.

• Material monitoring and reporting management, QA/QC management.

• Structure, Material monitoring, reporting and management, QA/QC management.

• Assembly level and Item level progress monitoring.

• All material and progress monitoring through barcode and mobile application.

Solution & Approach

EPCPROMAN proposed EPCPROMAN software including STRUCTMAN, ISOMEC, AUTOSPOOL, SPOOLMAN-ERMAN, MATCONTRK-STOREMAN and Track-N-Tracing Barcoding, Mobile Apps. progressing for the automation of their work processes. EPCPROMAN Implementation has been executed by stage wise.

Installation and configuration of basic modules of Construction Management Software.

Metal structure works (Material Receiving, Stock Control, Nesting Plan, Material Verification, Fabrication & Erection Progress, Fit up, Welding & NDT Progress, Progress Report generation.

Piping works (Material Receiving, Stock Control, Nesting Plan, Fabrication & Erection Progress, Fit up, Welding & NDT Progress, Progress Report generation.

Stage 1:

Installation and configuration of basic modules of Construction Management Software.

Stage 2:

Release and acceptance of module-1 which shall include flow of activities pertaining to Metal structure works (Material Receiving, Stock Control, Fabrication & Erection Progress, Fit up, Welding & NDT Progress, Progress Report generation.

Stage 3:

Release and acceptance of module-2 which shall include flow of activities pertaining to Piping works (Material Receiving, Stock Control, Nesting Plan, Fabrication & Erection Progress, Fit up, Welding & NDT Progress, Progress Report generation.
